Innovative technologies such as the highly efficient compressor block with SIGMA PROFILE, effective cooling and ventilation, industrial PC control and the IE3 Premium Efficiency motor all contribute to this.
Energy-efficient SIGMA PROFILE
The KAESER compressor block uses the energy-efficient SIGMA PROFILE, which is continuously optimized in terms of flow technology. This technology ensures excellent specific output. The single-stage compression with cooling fluid injection ensures optimum cooling, lubrication and sealing, which extends service life and ensures quiet operation.
Thoughtful design
The screw compressors are characterized by their user-friendly design. Maintenance points are easily accessible and the sound-insulating housing cover ensures low operating noise. Three separate intake openings ensure efficient cooling of the system, drive motor and control cabinet. Thanks to their compact design, the compressors save space.
Flexible belt drive
KAESER KOMPRESSOREN was one of the first manufacturers to implement this type of drive. The automatic retensioning device keeps the efficiency of the belt drive constantly high, which reduces maintenance costs.
Intuitive operating unit
The industry-standard operating unit has a clear display and robust buttons. The menu navigation is clearly structured and available in 30 languages, which simplifies operation.
Security through RFID
SIGMA CONTROL 2 offers a high level of security thanks to integrated RFID functionality. This enables users and service technicians to log in securely, preventing unauthorized operation and tampering.
Networking and communication skills
SIGMA CONTROL 2 communicates internally with the compressor and offers the option of remote monitoring and integration into the SIGMA NETWORK via an Ethernet interface. The integrated web server enables the display of operating parameters and message history.
Easy updating and storage
Software updates and operating parameters can be uploaded quickly via the SD card slot. The SD card is also used for long-term storage of important operating data.
Optional control technology connection
Plug-in bus communication modules enable external communication with building and control technology systems for remote control and monitoring. Digital and analog inputs and outputs allow the integration of external sensors and actuators.

For projects with the KAESER SM 16 screw compressor, additional compressed air treatment components may be required to achieve the desired degree of treatment in accordance with ISO 8573. We will be happy to advise you on this.
