Electronic staging and sequencing controll for multiple compressors

As soon as several compressors are operated in a compressed air network, the use of a higher-level electronic staging and sequencing control is crucial for efficient control of operation.

Condor's GLW controllers can be used to control up to four compressors in a electronic staging and sequencing control unit. The controller measures the mains pressure and, depending on the display settings, switches the connected compressors independently of time.

FILCOM offers three different equipment variants for the Electronic Staging and Sequencing Control unit GLW 4, which differ in terms of functionality and equipment:

The following variants are available:

GLW 4 - basic version: This basic version contains a wide range of functions, but without a wired housing. It is ideal for users who are looking for a simple and flexible solution.

GLW 4-S: This version comes in a robust plastic housing (420 x 300 x 170 mm) and is mounted on a top-hat rail. The unit is fully wired and includes internal terminal blocks and a wiring diagram. Perfect for users who need a ready-to-use solution.

GLW 4-SK (complete): This variant offers comprehensive equipment and additional front wiring for the operation of up to four compressors. It contains:

- Main switch

- Rotary built-in switch for bypassing the timer

- Four rotary switches for compressors 1 to 4

- Indicator lights for mains voltage and compressors 1 to 4

Activatable functions:

- Internal pressure transducer (0 to 16 bar) and connection of an external pressure transducer (two-wire technology, 4 to 20 mA)

- Integrated, freely programmable timer (control of up to 6 profiles)

- Flexible allocation of base load and load change compressors

- Control of up to three ball valves

- Automatic switchover after the load change time has elapsed

- Four digital inputs (e.g. for operating hours)

- Inputs for timer override and remote release

- Password protection for parameters

- Switchable units (bar/psi)
