Pressure Sensors
Efficient monitoring of line pressure in compressed air and gas systems
Efficient monitoring of line pressure in compressed air and gas systems is crucial to reducing energy consumption in the long term. Our extensive experience with pressure sensors shows that most machines require less than 6 bar overpressure. A targeted reduction of the nominal pressure can not only reduce power consumption, but also minimize leakage losses and extend the service life of the compressor. A reduction of just 1 bar can result in electricity savings of 6 to 8 %.
Important measures for pressure control
In order to keep the nominal pressure constantly low, it is very important to continuously monitor the pressure drop across the filters. If the pressure drop is more than 0.3 bar, a filter change is required. Our (differential) pressure sensors are ideally suited to precisely recording these key figures and optimally exploiting the associated savings potential.
