Pressure transmitters & Pressure sensors for compressed air
Pressure probes & pressure transmitters for compressed air systems - from 0-1.6 to 400 bar
Pressure drops in the line? Then something is wrong - and a good pressure transmitter will show you immediately where the problem lies. The precision pressure probes from CS Instruments monitor the system pressure of your compressed air system reliably and accurately (±0.5 %). Measuring ranges from 0-1.6 bar absolute to 400 bar gauge pressure cover every application. As pressure sensors for compressed air with 4-20 mA output, they can be easily integrated into paperless recorders, PLCs or control systems. Differential pressure transmitters for filter monitoring are also part of the range. Robust design in IP 65, temperature range up to +125 °C - developed and manufactured by CS Instruments in the Black Forest.
Pressure transmitters for compressed air monitoring - why measuring pressure is so important
Just 1 bar pressure loss costs you up to 8 % more energy
The operating pressure is the basis of every compressed air system - and at the same time a sensitive indicator of problems. Clogged filters, cross-sections that are too small, defective control valves or leaks manifest themselves as a drop in pressure. The problem: a pressure loss of just 1 bar increases the power consumption of your compressor by 6 to 8 percent. With a pressure transmitter from CS Instruments, you can continuously monitor the pressure at critical points. The pressure probes are suitable as pressure sensors for compressed air and gases for overpressure, underpressure and differential pressure measurement - and immediately report deviations to your Screen recorder or your PLC.
The range: pressure transmitters from 0-1.6 to 400 bar
CS Instruments offers pressure probes and pressure transmitters for almost every measuring range: from 0-1.6 bar absolute to 0-10, 0-16, 0-40, 0-100 and 0-250 bar up to 400 bar gauge pressure. The accuracy is ±0.5 % of the final value. All pressure transmitters work with 4-20 mA two-wire technology (DC 8-30 V), protection class IP 65, and a media temperature range of -40 to +125 °C. The process connection is via G 1/2" or NPT 1/2". Like all CS Instruments products: developed, manufactured and calibrated in VS-Tannheim in the Black Forest.
Measuring differential pressure - filter monitoring made easy
In addition to classic pressure transmitters, CS Instruments also offers differential pressure probes for one of the most important tasks in maintenance: filter monitoring. The differential pressure across a filter reliably indicates how dirty the element is. If the value rises above the limit value, a change is due - not according to a rigid schedule, but according to actual requirements. This saves filter costs and at the same time avoids excessive pressure losses. In combination with the Screen recorder DS 500 can be used to record pressure curves over the long term and set alarm thresholds. Suitable Connecting cables can be found in the accessories section.
