Float switch
Level measurement with float switch
Float switches act as level switches and are used in sewage lifting stations, service water tanks, rainwater harvesting systems and pump sumps. They are used for both direct and indirect control of pumps and are therefore essential components for effective pump control systems.
Application of level switches
Float switches are ideal for level measurement and level monitoring. They act efficiently as level controllers and enable precise level control.
Overview of float switch types PSN level switches:
PSN-O / This float switch is designed for pumping empty. It closes when the upper switching point is reached and activates the pump. As soon as the lower switching point is reached, the switch opens and the pump is switched off. The PSN-O can also be used as dry-running protection.
PSN-F / This float switch is used for full pumping. It closes when the lower switching point is reached, which activates the pump. When the upper switching point is reached, the switch opens and the pump is switched off.
PSN-X / The PSN-X enables both full and empty pumping and is therefore versatile and suitable for various pump control systems.
PSN-.. + ST / This float switch has a plug and socket for connecting a pump, making it ideal for pump control.
PSN-O DB / The PSN-O DB is a float switch for pumping empty that has integrated wire breakage and short-circuit monitoring with gold-plated contacts.
PSN-X-SP / This float switch enables both full and empty pumping and is equipped with gold-plated contacts, making it particularly suitable for use on PLCs and for intrinsically safe circuits.
Use our float switches for precise and reliable level measurement and pump control in your systems.
