Challenge
When it comes to pneumatically emptying silo vehicles, bulk material processing companies often face a choice: on-board, i.e., mobile, or stationary compressors. Pneumatically emptying silo vehicles using on-board compressor systems has several disadvantages. Not only is it uneconomical, as it increases the vehicle downtime and thus reduces their profitability, but the process also pollutes the environment, as the truck engine must drive the silo compressor at increased speed throughout the entire unloading period. Added to this is the high noise level. Stationary compressor systems installed at the unloading site are faster, more economical, more environmentally friendly, and significantly quieter.
