Which Donaldson filter element is the right one?
The choice of the right Donaldson compressed air filter depends on the desired compressed air quality in accordance with ISO 8573-1. Multi-stage filtration is recommended for typical industrial compressed air treatment: first a pre-filter from the V series for coarse separation, then a coalescence filter from the CF/FF series for oil and aerosol separation and, if required, an activated carbon filter from the A/AK series for oil-free compressed air. The HTCR variants are available for chemically aggressive media and the HTNX series for higher temperatures. In hygiene-critical areas, submicrofilters from the S/SMF series ensure germ-free process air.
All Donaldson filter elements are designed for use in DF filter housings and guarantee consistently high filtration performance over the entire service life.
