What is EcoParts AIR?
EcoParts AIR is the replacement filter range from Filtration Group, the company that incorporated the former MAHLE Industrial Filtration division. These filter elements are manufactured to the company's established quality standards and are specifically designed as alternatives to the original dust filter elements used in the Waiweldai WW series.
Their function: to reliably reduce contaminants to the required purity level, prevent the ingress of ambient dirt, and ensure consistent process conditions throughout their service life—for efficient and safe system operation.
Compatibility via a matching adapter
To ensure that EcoParts AIR elements fit into existing Waiweldai systems, a special adapter with a RD 78x5 round thread and seal is used. This adapter is only ordered once – with the initial order of a WW-LF filter element – and then remains permanently in the filter system. For each subsequent filter change, only the actual filter element is required.
Two adapter variants are available:
- WW Series V4A adapter – made of stainless steel, for use in food applications
- WW Series EVZK adapter – galvanized, for non-food applications
FOOD and non-food: the right element for every requirement
FOOD versions are tailored to the specific hygiene requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. They feature V4A stainless steel end plates and iFix pleat stabilization, which gives the filter medium high dimensional stability.
Non-food versions are designed for industrial dust collection processes, such as in the plastics and building materials processing industries or bulk material handling. In these versions, the pleated filter packs are stabilized with bands.
Both versions share the following characteristics: They are electrostatically dissipative, installed on the raw gas side, and have an airflow from the outside in.
Two filter media for different applications
Depending on the application, two proven filter media are available:

Both media meet dust class M requirements according to DIN EN 60335-2-69 and are also electrostatically dissipative.

The cylindrical dust filter elements of the WW-LF series are available from FILCOM in four lengths:
- 600 mm – approx. 2,2 m² filter surface
- 1.000 mm – approx. 3,6 m² filter surface
- 1.200 mm – approx. 4,3 m² filter surface
- 1.500 mm – approx. 5,4 m² filter surface
Each length is available with either an ePTFE membrane (E10) or polyester fleece (F8) and in both FOOD and non-FOOD versions—a total of 16 different filter elements plus the matching adapters.
