The KAESER KCTD 420-100 is an oil-free industrial dual system in lying design with 90-liter compressed air tank (internally coated). This oil-free air compressor delivers 2x 252 l/min effective volume flow at 6 bar and 2x 2.2 kW rated power at a maximum overpressure of 7 bar. The direct-coupled drive operates at a low speed of just 1,500 rpm - this ensures a long service life, low wear and low operating noise. The 2-unit selector switch enables automatic alternating operation: the units run alternately, which distributes wear evenly and ensures the compressed air supply when servicing a unit.

Application areas

The KCTD 420-100 is particularly suitable for applications where oil-free compressed air is required - in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals, electronics production, dental surgeries and laboratories. As the air is compressed oil-free, there is no need for oil changes and oil checks, and no oil-contaminated condensate is produced that would have to be disposed of separately. The long-lasting Teflon piston rings guarantee permanent oil-free compression.

Quality and production

Like all oil-free industrial compressors in the KCT series, the KCTD 420-100 is also manufactured at the KAESER plant in Coburg - Made in Germany. The double cooling system with aluminum cylinder heads ensures excellent heat dissipation and a longer service life. The direct-coupled drive with only 1,500 rpm is maintenance-free and works without transmission losses. Every piston compressor undergoes an extensive test run under realistic operating conditions before delivery.
