Insertion flow sensor - thermal, DN 8 to DN 2000
The CS Instruments VA 500 is a thermal insertion flow sensor for the precise measurement of compressed air consumption and gas volume flow. Thanks to installation via a ½" ball valve fitting, it fits into pipelines from DN 8 to DN 2000 - it can also be installed during operation under pressure. The display shows instantaneous consumption (Nm³/h), total consumption (Nm³) and temperature simultaneously. Interfaces: 4-20 mA, pulse, RS 485 (Modbus-RTU). Measuring dynamics up to 1:1000, bidirectional measurement possible. All gas types: compressed air, N₂, O₂, CO₂, argon and many more.
Application areas
The VA 500 is ideal for recording consumption on compressors, distributors, individual production lines or machines. In combination with a Screen recorder turns individual measurement into genuine compressed air monitoring. Thanks to the simple plug-in installation, retrofitting is also possible without having to convert the line.
Quality made in Germany
Like all CS Instruments products, the VA 500 is developed, manufactured and individually calibrated at the VS-Tannheim site in the Black Forest. Matching Accessories can also be found at FILCOM.
