Choosing the right compressed air hose - pressure levels & areas of application
The operating pressure, bending radius, media resistance and ambient temperature are decisive factors when selecting the compressed air hose. PUR hose (PU hose) or PVC hose are suitable for standard compressed air applications up to 20 bar. Compressed air hoses are used for high-pressure applications up to 100 bar. PTFE hose variants are recommended for chemically contaminated environments. Anti-static hoses provide the necessary protection in potentially explosive areas.
