KAESER industrial reciprocating compressors are designed for continuous operation in demanding environments. In the FILCOM online store you will find two proven product lines: the oil-lubricated KCCD/KCD twin units with volume flows of 2x 80 to 2x 590 l/min and the oil-free KCT/KCTD compressors with 59 to 920 l/min. Both series are manufactured by KAESER in Coburg, Germany, and feature robust compressor blocks made of special gray cast iron, maintenance-friendly direct drive and the proven SIGMA CONTROL system.

Oil-lubricated or oil-free - which technology is the right one?
The choice between oil-lubricated and oil-free compressed air depends on the respective application. Oil-lubricated KCCD/KCD compressors offer a particularly long service life for the compressor components thanks to the lubrication and are suitable wherever small amounts of residual oil in the compressed air are tolerated - for example in workshops, production facilities or material processing. Oil-free KCT/KCTD compressors generate compressed air without any oil contact and are the safe choice for food, pharmaceutical, laboratory and medical technology as well as for all processes where even minimal traces of oil are unacceptable.
Important: For technically oil-free compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573-1 Class 1, additional downstream filtration and Compressed air treatment this is because even oil-free compressors can introduce particles and moisture from the ambient air into the compressed air network. Only the combination of an oil-free compressor and suitable treatment guarantees the required compressed air quality.

KAESER industrial reciprocating compressors are used in a wide range of industries: in manufacturing and assembly, in crafts and workshops, in food and beverage production, in pharmaceutical and laboratory operations, in medical and dental technology as well as in electronics production and the packaging industry. The dual systems in the KCCD/KCD and KCTD series also offer the option of redundant operation or automatic alternating operation via the optional 2-way selector switch, which significantly increases operational reliability and service life.

All industrial reciprocating compressors are manufactured at the KAESER plant in Coburg. Robust compressor blocks made of special grey cast iron, precision-manufactured valves and the low-wear direct drive without V-belts guarantee a long service life and reliable continuous operation. Integrated aftercoolers ensure low compressed air temperatures at the outlet, and the SIGMA CONTROL control system enables precise monitoring of all operating parameters. Each system undergoes an extensive test run under realistic operating conditions before delivery.
