The KAESER i.Comp 8 and i.Comp 9 are oil-free, speed-controlled piston compressors with a space-saving TOWER design. At a maximum of 65.7 dB(A), they operate at room volume and continuously adjust their volume flow to the actual compressed air requirement - saving energy and reducing wear. As the air is compressed oil-free, there is no need for oil changes, oil checks or the disposal of oil-contaminated condensate. Both models are available as a TOWER version and as a TOWER T with integrated refrigerant dryer. The i.Comp models deliver effective volume flows of 404 to 570 l/min at 6 bar with a maximum overpressure of 11 bar. Both sizes are available as TOWER (compressor with tank) and TOWER T (complete solution with refrigeration dryer):

TOWER or TOWER T - which variant is the right one?

Both versions are based on the same oil-free speed-controlled compressor block with single-stage compression and patented piston base intake. The difference lies in the equipment: the TOWER variant is supplied with the i.Comp CONTROL control unit and the KAESER-DRAIN electronic condensate drain - ideal if an external refrigeration dryer is already in place or no drying is required. The TOWER T variant is the complete turnkey solution: it combines the compressor with an integrated refrigeration dryer, the superior SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller with pressure preselection and network connection as well as the ECO-DRAIN 31 condensate drain, which operates loss-free.

All i.Comp compressors are manufactured at the KAESER plant in Coburg. The housing made of rotationally molded polyethylene is impact-resistant, corrosion-free and sound-insulating - at a maximum of 65.7 dB(A), the i.Comp operates at room volume. The single-stage compression with patented piston base suction ensures an outstanding filling level and maximum efficiency. As the air is compressed oil-free, there is no need for oil changes and oil checks, and no oil-contaminated condensate is produced - this reduces operating costs and simplifies maintenance. All models are suitable for continuous operation up to 45 °C ambient temperature.
