Which SXC model for which application?
The choice of the right model depends on the compressed air requirement and the required operating pressure. The SXC 3 with 2.2 kW is the compact entry-level model for smaller workshops with moderate compressed air requirements - such as for individual pneumatic tools or blowing work. The SXC 4 with 3.0 kW is the versatile middle model in the series and offers sufficient power to operate several consumers in parallel. The SXC 6 with 4.0 kW is suitable for more power-intensive applications such as sandblasting or the operation of pneumatic machines. The SXC 8 with 5.5 kW is the top model in the series and reliably supplies even demanding craft businesses with high compressed air requirements.
The pressure rating determines the application profile: models with max. 8 bar cover standard workshop requirements. Variants with max. 11 bar are suitable for applications with increased pressure requirements, such as pressure tests or longer supply lines. The high-pressure versions with max. 15 bar (from SXC 4) serve industry-related requirements such as laser machines or high-pressure sandblasting.

KAESER distinguishes between the SXC series of compact rotary screw air compressor stations for trade businesses and the AIRCENTER series for smaller industrial operations. The SXC models are equipped with a noise-insulating PE hood, are particularly compact (0.62 m² footprint) and feature the SIGMA CONTROL 3 S touch control.
Equipment and technology of the SXC series
Each KAESER SXC compressed air station is supplied as a complete, ready-to-operate system. The oil-lubricated KAESER screw compressor block, an energy-efficient IE3 motor, the integrated refrigeration dryer and the 215-liter compressed air receiver are housed in a compact casing with a noise-insulating PE hood. The SIGMA CONTROL 3 S touch control monitors all operating parameters and enables simple operation via the graphical color display. The integrated refrigerant dryer works with the refrigerant R-513A (GWP 631) and delivers a pressure dew point of +3 °C - ensuring that dry, condensate-free compressed air reliably reaches the consumer. All models operate at 400 V / 3 Ph / 50 Hz and only require a power connection and a compressed air connection (G 3/4).

The KAESER screw compressor block with the proven SIGMA PROFILE rotor pair offers an optimized volume flow with low energy consumption.
