Bulkhead connectors
Bulkhead fittings for secure connections in the process industry
Bulkhead fittings are essential in the process industry and fluid technology. They ensure the tight connection of pipelines, hoses or ducts that transport liquids, gases or powders and prevent leaks to ensure reliable flow control. They differ from classic reducers through the use of locknuts.
Flexible thread types for numerous applications
Our bulkhead fittings are available in various thread types, including G-thread (BSP) and metric threads. G-threads are marked in inch sizes such as 1/4 or 1/2 inch and are often used in applications where inch sizes are common.
Metric threads, on the other hand, have a flank angle of 60 degrees and are ISO-standardized. They are specified in millimetres, e.g. M10x1.5. In special applications, bulkhead fittings with combinations of G and metric threads can be used to connect different systems.
We offer bulkhead fittings in various high-quality materials:
- Brass: Provides excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Ideal for water and gas supply.
- Nickel-plated brass: Provides additional corrosion protection with an aesthetic advantage, suitable for applications in the food industry.
- Stainless steel: Particularly resistant to corrosion and aggressive chemicals. Ideal for demanding environments such as the chemical industry.
